Research: For this project, I made a newspaper for the show Daredevil. The show, with season one taking place in around 2014, is about a blind lawyer named Matt Murdock who has enhanced senses that allow him to fight crime both day and night. The newspaper will focus on Daredevil, the protagonist. In order to make it fit the scene, I may need to add wrinkles, imperfections to the edges, a film grain and/or a printing grain to imitate the ink, warping, a slight blur to soften the text, and some color adjustments to match the color of the surroundings. This will either be placed on a table within a scene or in the hands of one of the characters.

Final product: After reviewing my research, I created a fake newspaper cover similar to the ones in the show. I decided to composite it into a screenshot from the show in the hands of Karen, one of the other characters in the series. I used masking, warping, iris blur, a couple color adjustment layers, and a film grain on a soft light layer setting. I also brushed on shadows in a couple multiply layers to make it look like she was actually touching the paper.
